Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using our website, courses, community, donations page, or other services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. These Terms are not legal advice.

1) Snapshot Summary (Not a substitute for the full Terms)

You must use BKB respectfully and lawfully. No harassment, spam, or misuse.

Content on BKB is protected. You can use it for personal, non‑commercial purposes unless we say otherwise.

Courses, memberships, and donations may involve third‑party processors (e.g., Stripe/PayPal, CC360).

We do not provide legal, medical, or financial advice; our content is for ministry and educational purposes only.

Some purchases renew automatically until you cancel. Refund and cancellation details appear below.

Disputes are governed by Texas law. We include an arbitration and class‑action waiver with a small‑claims court option.

2) Acceptance of Terms & Updates

These Terms apply to your use of the Services and incorporate the Privacy Policy and any posted community or course guidelines. We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version with a new "Effective Date." Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

3) Eligibility; Accounts; Accuracy

Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) to use most Services, and 18+ to make purchases or donations. Parents/guardians are responsible for minors who use the Services.

Accounts: Some features require an account (e.g., community, courses). Keep your login secure and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Accuracy: Provide true, current information. We may suspend or terminate your account for breaches of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

4) Ministry Purpose; No Professional Advice

Our content is Christ‑centered, devotional, educational, and pastoral in nature. We do not provide professional legal, medical, mental‑health, financial, or other licensed advice. Content is provided "as is" for informational and ministry purposes only. Seek qualified professional advice for such matters.

5) Community & Course Guidelines (CC360 or similar)

When participating in communities or courses hosted via Course Creator 360 ("CC360") or similar platforms, you agree to:

Be respectful; no harassment, hate speech, bullying, threats, or doxxing.

No obscene, pornographic, or illegal content; no posting of others’ private data.

No spam, self‑promotion, or commercial solicitations without our written permission.

Follow any posted rules for groups, challenges, or events.

Report concerns to moderators; we may remove content or restrict access at our discretion.

User‑Generated Content (UGC) License: By posting or uploading content (text, images, videos, testimonials, etc.), you grant BKB a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt, and create derivative works from your UGC in connection with the Services and BKB’s ministry, including for promotional purposes. You represent you own or have rights to the UGC and that it does not violate rights of others.

We do not pre‑screen all content and are not responsible for user posts. We reserve the right (but are not obligated) to monitor, moderate, or remove content for any reason.

6) Purchases, Donations, Pricing & Refunds

Payment Processing: Payments and donations are handled by third‑party processors (e.g., Stripe/PayPal). We do not store full payment card numbers.

Pricing & Changes: Prices may change at any time. Taxes may apply based on your location.

Digital Products & Courses: Unless otherwise stated at checkout, all sales are final for digital goods and course access, except where required by law. If we offer a satisfaction guarantee, the specific terms at checkout control.

Memberships/Subscriptions: If you enroll in a subscription, it will auto‑renew at the then‑current rate until you cancel. You can cancel in your account or by contacting us before the next billing cycle. Partial months are generally not prorated unless required by law.

Donations: Donations are typically non‑refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us promptly and we will review.

Merchandise (if applicable): Shipping, returns, and exchanges are governed by the policy posted at purchase. Risk of loss passes upon carrier delivery acceptance.

7) Intellectual Property

Ours: The Services, including text, videos, graphics, logos, and trademarks, are owned by BKB or our licensors and protected by intellectual‑property laws. Except as expressly allowed, you may not copy, modify, distribute, perform, display, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Yours: You retain ownership of your UGC, subject to the license you grant us in Section 5.

Limited License: We grant you a limited, revocable, non‑transferable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non‑commercial use, consistent with these Terms.

8) Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use the Services for unlawful purposes or to violate others’ rights.

Interfere with or disrupt the Services; introduce malware or attempt to bypass security.

Scrape, crawl, or harvest data without our written consent.

Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with BKB.

Use automated means (bots, scripts) to access or interact with the Services except as permitted by us.

9) Third‑Party Services & Links

We may link to or integrate third‑party platforms (e.g., CC360, YouTube, Stripe, Google, Metricool). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. BKB is not responsible for third‑party acts or omissions.

10) Testimonials, Likeness, and Recordings

If you submit a testimonial, story, photo, or video to BKB (including via community posts), you grant BKB permission to use it (with your first name and city or as otherwise agreed) for ministry and promotional purposes, in any media, without additional compensation, subject to applicable law and your privacy choices. For live events or recordings, separate releases may apply.

11) Communications & Notifications

By creating an account or providing contact information, you agree to receive transactional emails (e.g., receipts, account notices). With your consent, we may send newsletters or ministry updates—you may unsubscribe at any time. SMS messaging (if offered) requires separate opt‑in and message/data rates may apply.

12) Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, send a notice including required details to [email protected]. We will respond in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512). Repeat infringers’ accounts may be terminated in appropriate circumstances.

13) Disclaimers

THE SERVICES AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BKB DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR‑FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

14) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BKB AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO BKB FOR THE SERVICE AT ISSUE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS—YOUR RIGHTS MAY VARY.

15) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BKB and our officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, your UGC, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

16) Governing Law; Dispute Resolution; Class Action Waiver

Governing Law & Venue: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules. Exclusive venue for any permitted court action lies in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas.

Arbitration: Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in Collin County, Texas, in English, by a single arbitrator. Either party may seek relief in small‑claims court for eligible matters.

Class Waiver: YOU AND BKB AGREE THAT CLAIMS MUST BE BROUGHT IN YOUR OR OUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

If you do not wish to agree to arbitration/class waiver, you may opt out by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of the Effective Date or your first use of the Services (whichever is later), stating your full name and that you opt out.

17) International Users

We operate from the United States. If you access the Services from other countries, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws. You consent to processing and transfer of your information in the U.S. as described in the Privacy Policy.

18) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violations of these Terms or applicable law. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., IP, UGC license, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, dispute resolution) will survive termination.

19) Changes to the Services

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Services at any time without liability, including features, content, or availability.

20) Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement: These Terms, plus incorporated policies, are the entire agreement between you and BKB regarding the Services.

Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.

Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of a reorganization or affiliation.

No Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver.

Electronic Communications: You consent to receiving electronic communications and to electronic signatures and records.
